Parisienne chic meets Sheherazade

I can't make a comparison as I've never tried the original. The opening of herbs and yellow flowers, which I wish lasted longer, is soon elbowed out of the way by a classic French style violet. You have to love violets as this one persists to the very end, even when the spices and woods are trying to shine. I admit my nose is struggling with such an unusual combination of notes where East meets West. But it's still a very pretty scent which is growing on me each time I test it.
