A great option for coffee beginners and veterans alike!

This was a fantastic way to be introduced to the roast profiles offered by Philocoffea. Upon quick visual examination, it was easy to discern what Philocoffea considers medium, medium/dark, and dark roast. Additionally, each blend had a distinctive flavor that showcased how the roasting process complimented each selection of beans: the 012 was bright without being overly acidic, the 013 was supremely well-balanced and a great daily drinker, and the 014 was smooth and sweet without the roast overwhelming the flavor of the beans. The Rudder Blend Set is a fantastic recommendation for both those new to coffee and those who have been drinking specialty coffee for years.
