Hatchet Unit Study - Surviving the Unknown (Middle School)

My daughter chose this for next year. I was on the fence but ordered. Once it came in and I got to really look at the study I'm in love! Cannot wait to get started!

A perfect balance of fun and challenge

I really like the self paced aspect of this curriculum. Our boys are finding the questions challenging so we take our time. We loved the Earnest Shackleton story in the beginning and dove into that adventure for a little while too! I can remember in school loving writing and reading but not grammar and all the technical parts of it. I feel like this is a good balance paired with the wonderful and exciting story of Hatchet. I wouldn’t have been able to come up with anything close to this myself. I greatly appreciate Prairie and Pine for all the hard work to make this and we look forward to using another one when we are done.
