The dash cam looks to be an ideal solution but unfortunately I was unable to disconnect the cable to the wiper sensor so have been unable to fit it. It looks fairly simple in the YouTube video but not so easy in practice. I will probably have to take it to a local auto electricians for help. Given it is in theory a simple fit the mobile fitting service offered looks expensive.
