Professional all - in - one DJ system with 2 decks

For me the XDJ-RX3 is perfect. This is the lowest priced all-in-one system from Pioneer that is set up like pro level equipment and isn't missing important features. The XDJ-RR is similar, but you get a smaller screen, half as many hotcues, and most of the beat effects are missing. I love the vinyl brake effect in the mixer and having a time knob as well as buttons works great with the roll effect. When I first plugged in my USB drive, my playlist only showed song title. No BPM, no key. That's not very helpful, but after changing some settings in Rekordbox, it now shows song title, key, BPM, and highlights compatible keys in green. Still no artist name in the playlist, but Pioneer wants to remind you that you didn't pay for the XDJ-AZ. I switched from the DDJ-FLX10, which had stems buttons on the decks and effects. The XDJ-RX3 is an older model so it has no stems or EQ for the effects. You can have stems in the pads if you use it as a controller connected to a computer. I have to remind myself the FLX10 also doesn't have stems without a computer - in fact, it doesn't work at all. I've had many different pieces of DJ equipment and I've learned you need to be honest with yourself about which features you actually need. Unless you buy the most expensive thing from Pioneer, it will be missing stuff. Do you really need 4 decks and stems? Are you like me and just DJ a couple parties once in a while? Maybe you don't need the fanciest thing. The XDJ-RX3 has everything I need.
