XDJ-AZ

After having practiced for months on an FLX4 and building up my Dj confidence, I would jump on a cdj and feel like I had regressed back to knowing almost nothing. Within a week of practicing on the XDJ-AZ, my CDJ transition had become so much smoother. Its not exactly the same, but so much closer to club style gear then an FLX. Id argue that beatmatching is harder on the AZ because you dont get beat grid lines that are super close like on an laptop or a cdj. So it actually forces you to use your ears and learn beatmatching the right way. If you ever plan on doing gigs with club style equipment, I would highly highly recommend an AZ. It is standalone but also has the capability to hook up to laptop and rekordbox. I now only use my FLX 4 for traveling.

LOVE IT

The XDJ-AZ operates just like a pair of CDJ-3000s. There’s absolutely no lag, and the response time is incredibly quick. It's the perfect unit for my open-format sets when I need to fly through various folders and playlists to find tracks on the fly. LOVE IT! Best upgrade I've made in years!

This unit is absolutely amazing! I have had so much fun mixing and being able to do so much more now with all the tools it comes with, it was also super easy to set-up and how to use it I really am excited for how much I can contribute to my hobbies now and can't thank everyone at the company for how much this means to me and how happy it makes me thank you guys for everything
