Perimeter Retractable Spring Contacts

Springs are not strong enough for my dog's fur

Unfortunately my dog, a Great Pyrenees, has very thick fur. I thought that the added length of the retractable spring contacts might enable the shock function of the PawTronics system. The springs are just not powerful enough to push through the dog's fur. I have purchased 2" steel screws and will test these in the coming week.
