Jursla Felling Axe

It seems that I'll need to slightly sand and oil the handle, but otherwise it appears to be about a high a quality axe as I've ever seen.

I put this to use right out of the box. Great weight, balance, even, deep cuts. I am initially of skeptical of most things that advertise durability. Pretend ruggedness is having a moment. This feels like, and performs like a tool for people who appreciate old world strong, old world pace, and old world principle. We cook and heat with wood and do not pay for firewood. This ax fits in.

Absolutely everything lives up to the myth. There is Swedish steel and then there’s the rest.… have something your grand kids will fight over. As good as it gets.
