On reception,Iwas quite pleased withthe look of it: it will be a worthy airloom for my son. But the important part is how well does it split wood?I'venow split 5 cords of wood and the verdict is in: this axe is an amazing wood splitter!! Expensive? Absolutely! Worth it? Every penny!!

Great craftsmanship, beautifully made axe If you enjoy a great tool. I have only split one truck load of campfire and smoker wood being its summer but is a great axe for the job.

Is the best axe i've ever swung or used or got results with for splitting wood. I've been flowing water for a while. And amazed, how this one goes through some of the harder stuff. High quality craftsmanship, and I couldn't be happier.
