Excellent soldering iron

The soldering iron itself is fantastic when using the BC2 tip. It has replaced a couple cheap plug in irons I had that were not great. Typeractive supports FOSS, which is important to me, had an excellent price for the the iron (in the US) and the shipping was fast and done well. Definitely recommended!

Superb product and service

I assumed i'd get my Pinecil from Pine64, but the tariff situation looked grim. Then i found Typeractive's local stock and great price. But it was their About Us page that clinched it. They got it into USPS' hands in <1 day! Way to go, guys! The Pinecil V2 is of course delightful. It's like if Santa ran Metcal. With a 45W PD charger and the BC2 tip, it soldered a 14 ga solid wire to the middle of a 3" square of PCB ground plane, no problem. Yet it's so small and light, you could solder a whole keyboard of switch sockets with ease and precision. So thank you very much, Typeractive and Pine64! :)

Great little soldering iron

I’m absolutely loving this little tool! It heats up really fast, has lots of options. Quite an upgrade from my 20 year old iron.
