Grateful
Thank you so much for sharing this idea. I am having fun pulling fabric from my stash and then thinking of what I am grateful for. Yesterday, I was grateful for the juicer!! It certainly causes you to look at life differently. I am grateful for Sue and her team!!

Couldn’t be better!
I’m working on my gratitude quilt and the pattern is excellent and easy to follow. The only issue I had was handling the bulk at the bottom point of the heart. What I thought would be helpful was to see a picture of the backside of the heart so I could see exactly how you are flying the seam allowances down. I tried several orders. I asked that question of sue on Instagram and haven’t heard back but I know she is a very busy woman. I’m appliquéing each heart to the background as I go and wasn’t happy with how that point was looking. So instead, I just used the windowed template to make the heart as a single piece. Once I got that accurate I have made a template for the full heart from template plastic that I trace around on my scrap fabrics. I find I only need a piece of fabric about 4” wide by 3” high to trace a heart onto. It’s true that I need a little bigger scrap than I do for English paper piecing the jewels but I’m okay with that. Appliqué is easier on my hands. I love the idea behind the this quilt and pattern. I practice gratitude every day normally. I find it’s always better to be grateful than hateful. Thanks for such a good idea and pattern.
