I am happy with the "old style" Samsung TV remote to replace the lighter-weight type supplied with the newer models. The older kind can give me channel information by pushing INFO. Further, I can switch between channels with the BACK button. In addition, I can go from one channel more quickly by punching in the channel numbers instead of using the up-down scrolling. I have 5 of the "ordinary" (not fancy) Samsung TVs, and I would NOT buy another brand. I LOVE the feature options of the SAMSUNG Network for those who have Internet access too.
