Travel Yoga Mat – Midnight Ocean

Exceeded my expectations!

I’ve used both a lululemon and a liforme yoga mat in my daily practice but I needed something I could put in a carry-on to travel with me. Not only does this mat fold up to the size of a pair of pants, it’s also so grippy! I tested it out at home just to see what it was like, and I wasn’t slipping at all. Excellent for practicing outdoors or when traveling.

This is a beautiful mat that can fit into any bag. Perfect for travel. It does need to be a little damp to grip.

I travelled across Europe, Central Asia through to India and beyond for 8 months, I practised most days and did a YTT with it. During the YTT I placed it over a normal mat for extra comfort, but for the rest of the trip it was absolutely fine, and I practised on all sorts of floors. It packed it away in the side pocket of my rucksack, it went in hand luggage and under-carry and survived all trips. I was worried about the purchase because of knee pain I sometimes get in studios, but for some reason, I had no pain all trip!
