Sizing wasn't right for me. Purchased size 14 in this style but too tight around the waist. Same size in the elasticized waist is slightly too big. Had to return. Nice fabric though

I have nothing but love for my plain pants. It took a bit of extra effort to find the right size, but after one return and resize round, they now fit wonderfully. These pants provide a flattering shape and fit, where I feel comfortable but also accented in the right places. My sizing experience: I took my measurements, lined them up with the size chart, and ordered accordingly (size 14). Unfortunately, when they arrived they fit well in the thighs and hips but too tight in the waist. These pants have a small waist to hip ratio. I had to size up (size 16) to account for the smaller waist. For reference, I am 5’8” and 185 pounds. Normally I wear a size 10/12 pants but for the plain pants a size 16 fit best.
