I thought this would be a very complicated issue and I would not be able to watch my TV for months. I called Samsung customer service, and they said that the remote was out of stock. However, they told me to go to the Samsung website to order the remote. I did and the website showed that the remote was out of stock. I called customer service back a couple weeks later and was asked to provide my TV's serial and model number and answer a few other questions. Our conversation finally ended up with the customer service representative telling me to go to the website to order the part. Fortunately, the remote was in stock this time. I ordered it and it came 3 days later. So, back to watching TV after a 3-week around about chase to find the part.
