Athletic Fit Stretch Chino Shorts 5" in Pale Grey

Way too small. I wear a 31-32 jean and needed two sizes up. The 32 was very small

Unexpected issue

I was looking forward to getting these shorts but am a little disappointed. I have pretty big thighs but the leg opening on the 5" short is still too wide for my legs. The leg isn't tapered at all which I found surprising. The material and workmanship are fine but I am not sure that I will be wearing these that often.

Surprisingly awesome fit -- if you size up!

I was skeptical of these from the get go., but these shorts fit me very well -- but only because I SIZED UP from other brands I wear! I've tried so many brands of shorts and I wasn't convinced Tailored Athlete would fit my body. While I have an athletic build with thicker quads and hamstrings than average, I'm not quite like the models in these ads! :-). I used the "Find my Fit" tool on this website and it was accurate. I didn't trust it at first, so I ordered another pair in my "normal" size. That was a mistake -- they were way too tight in the leg openings and the glutes. So my advice to all guys here is to use the fitting tool. But if you're still on the fence, then SIZE UP from brands you usually buy from, e.g. Lululemon, J. Crew, Huckberry (Flint and Tinder).
