BEE HOUSE Ceramic Teapot 45 oz -ZERO JAPAN

I purchased this teapot in 1999 or 2000 and it quickly became my favorite for its large capacity, heft, solid construction, and beauty. The mesh strainer and metal lid make it practical for early morning, bleary-eyed tea making (no broken lids). The pot itself maintains heat well and pours without drips. Unfortunately, after a couple decades (and several moves), I noticed mine had developed a crack at the top/handle and was lamenting having to buy an inferior replacement. I was so happy to find this design still in production, and in the “denim” color I favored. My new pot is beautiful and building up a patina, and my old pot will become a decorative planter because I cant bring myself to discard it.
