Excellent Amp

Perfect solution for wanting more power driving the speakers without swapping the entire head unit. Youtube video made installation very easy. Solid build construction. The boost in volume, low end bass and high end clarity is phenomenal. Excellent product.

Excellent amp for its intended purpose.

An excellent amp for its intended purpose, which is to improve sound quality with ease of installation in a very compact unit. If you're looking for major power and to have the bass rattle your car windows, this isn't for you. If you want a noticeable improvement in sound quality, this is it. I have purchased two of these amps, one for my 22 Corolla and another for my fiancee's 2013 Sienna. There is definitely an improvement in audio quality. We recently bought a CD for her Sienna (yes, in that year they still had CD players, LOL) and it sounded pretty lifeless until I installed the amp, at which point it came alive. I have to note that both our cars have aftermarket Infinity speakers in the fronts, so we'll never know how the amp would make an OEM speaker sound. If this amp is intended to make OEM speakers sound better, then good quality aftermarket speakers would make even more of a difference. A few notes: 1. Not truly plug n play on some vehicles due to a separate ground connection, but that's no big deal. Beatsonic has been working on integrating the grounds into the harnesses. 2. The amps can get fairly hot (not just warm, but actually hot to the touch). They told me that's normal, but is it really? It's a minor concern. 3. The advertised 45W power is PEAK, which means it can produce that power in short bursts, but not constantly. What I would call the ACTUAL power is 23W RMS, which is the power it outputs constantly. Still very good for what it does. 4. A possible recommendation for Beatsonic: they might want to think about selling vehicle-specific harnesses separately in case you get a new car and want to transfer the amplifier. Just a thought because it may not be possible or practical from a business perspective.
