Primer for the gods

I urge usage of the primer for a successful application of Alkemis paints on any old walls or partially new walls. My home has been in my family for 100 years this year and so we had to partially plaster some areas and build new sections of walls and the primer gave me a blank state to paint on.

Slightly wonky to apply (nothing major), gorgeous resuts

We used the primer and the coquelicot paint in our living room which we skim coated recently. Like most paint jobs, the first coat looked pretty bad and uneven, especially when drying. But just keep the faith and keep going. By the final coat wow so so gorgeous. It’s definitely slightly trickier to apply than a latex paint because it’s thicker and not as “wet” but that’s nothing major. I’m honestly so in love with our new living room. Will definitely be purchasing again. I do wish that there were even more options for bolder colors like this.
