Wallpaper beautiful design poor quality

I bought this wallpaper for my office. The design is beautiful! However after applying the wallpaper I noticed it was difficult to cut in a sharp lines the paper would bunch and tear. I have applied wallpaper many times and was using a brand new blade so that was not the issue. It was almost like the adhesive soaked into the paper making it rip instead of cut... disappointed in the quality.
