Btech GMRS-PRO, is defiantly a great radio.

Its a great radio and I did do a ton of research before buying this particular radio. . 1st they seem to be built very well. I have not tested everything but I'm impressed with the range. I did do a distance test on 5W against my current high end Motorola's. The GMR Pro did about .30% more distance than my Motorola's. The Motorola's did 11.6 mi line of site and through tall fir trees as well. From my work to my home I was able to talk to my wife. 16.1 mile drive 11.6 mi line of site according to Google earth. I like the GPS option for hunting and finding each other in the woods especially for an emergency's. I still need to program in repeater stations but this is a game changer for distance. I also like the texting option for communicating silently. Love the Bluetooth, the phone app programing was easy through Bluetooth, GPS, on-board compass and more. It also includes a NOAA receiver and FM radio. I will use all these features. I'm Happy with the price and Comm Gear Supply. I did call and talk to one of their techs who gave me the exact information to buy this particular radio.
