My fav paddle, quality, minimalist design, top tier spin

Spin: In my paddle collection Luxe Signature is at the top of spin levels, it's equal to my spinniest paddle the Diadem Speed Pro 14mm which tops the charts. It gets more gets more spin than Gamma Obsidian, Dymon Kevlar 14mm, and my Ethos Scoria and much more spin than Selkirk Halo Thermoformed and Versix Vector. Although roughness isn't correlated with spin levels for outdoor balls, I can say that I like the rough feeling of Luxe, and it makes indoor balls spin more than my Diadem. See the ball dust in my picture; I like how it chips the plastic off the balls and leaves a circle of dust. Dwell time: At 14mm this has a perfect amount of dwell time. I generally don't like the feeling of 16mm because it has too much dwell and feels like a pad, and I also don't like my Dymon Kevlar 14mm paddle because it has almost no dwell time and a low launch angle. I like how Luxe Signature 14mm has just enough dwell and pocketing to kick the ball up a little on impact. Handle Length: I bought this to try a 5.5 inch handle. I've been using 5.75 inch handles for a while, and it feels like my 2hbh on my 5.75 handles feels like a push, while the 5.5 inch has less room for 2 hands, but it feels more like a swing. Also I like the balance of 5.5 inch handles because they feel less like a hammer. Cons: If you're an advanced player and like to switch grips, this grip is a little thick, can be solved by replacing original grip with a tennis overgrip.

Friends and I like Signature 16mm

I have played with this paddle for a week now. Three of my friends also tried it out. We all felt it played well. It was easy to impart spin to the ball, had a lot of power, and was easy to control and place soft shots. At 7.8oz it is light for me, so I added 12 grams to the sides which felt better. If you are used to playing with a 7.5-8.0oz paddle you will not need to do this. It is reasonably priced at $150 and well worth every dollar.

Signature paddle!!

The signature paddle has great feel!! Love the touch I have when using it! Used a few different brands in the past but Luxe has been my favorite so far!
