No-Knot Banjo Tailpiece

I have an older looking 4 string tenor and it had a more modern looking klunky tailpiece The no knot looks more in keeping with the banjo and works we'll - it was also comparatively inexpensive

Build Quality.

I was impressed with the delivery speed , customer service & comunication from your business. How ever i was dissapointed with the build quality of the items themselves. The rear of the string posts were not PEENED very well with parts of the posts missing where the chisel that was used to flair the post in the hole broken off. Also the area below the posts on the string side was not polished but left with a rough apearance that has come from a non polished anvil face when the post rears were peened. I won't be using these on my Banjolele as it detracts from the looks of the other chrome polished surfaces of the metal hooks, the tension ring, lug bolts, & arm rest. I am not convinced the string posts will stand up to the string tension due to the poorly peened rear of each post through the tailpiece. I have even considered soldering the rear of the posts but may not be able to polish out the heat marks left in the rough area under the string posts. All in all though i will be back to purchase other items from you when i need them because i understand these No Not Tailpieces were not made by you but by some one in china with little interrest in making a perfect product.
