GCN's Essential Road Bike Maintenance

Not An Easy Read - Do Not Use Narrow Font

I have received my GCN Road Bike Maintenance Book but the font is too small for me to read fluently. If the book is to be reprinted it needs to be at least a size 10 and care should be taken on the colour of font too. For example page 16, black font size 8 on a dark grey background is not an easy read. I have to read the book through the camera app on my phone and enlarge the font that way. And, if you want to get 'top marks' next time, use a dyslexic friendly font, not a 'narrow' font. The QR codes to the videos works very well.

I am finding this book very usefjl and a great assistant to helping me with bicycle repairs and maintenance.

Helpful reference guide when you don't want to open YouTube.

I bought this as a quick reference when working on the bike, and it's great for that! But if you've got time, GCN and GCN Tech has videos for most of the content in this book and some updated videos for things like bar taping. The book relies on links to YouTube for additional detail on many topics. A second revision of this might benefit from some "exclusive" YouTube content associated with it to make the value seem slightly higher.
