Off to a Healthy Start

Received these in the fall and got them planted in a loose and fertile substrate in an otherwise difficult spot under a maple tree, where they will be joining a half dozen other established Sum & Substance hostas. Some bare roots looked more substantial than others. Watered regularly to give the roots a good start. Each one started sprouting leaves within a few weeks. I look forward to seeing how they do in the growing season.
