Launching with students

We had a fabulous launch! I have built rockets with four different classes now. They inspire many gasps and thrills when their hard work reach the sky! The junior high students did great building these. We did it with grades 2-4 with a lot of help on the fin and launch lines. The beginner rockets were easier for the younger students.

More complicated than expected

According to the site information, this would be a simple rocket to start with kids but involves lot of steps that are quite complex for younger kids. I found other models are actually listed as more advanced but much easier to assemble. Once assembled it was a blast. Lots of fun and the kids loved it.
