Tubes, rings, and lugs are separate - loose in box!

We use these rockets for Cub Scouts. It's very easy to pass out "kits" in which everything is contained in one bag. For some odd reason, the majority of the Alpha III parts are in a sealed plastic bag, but the cardboard and tubular products are not - they are loose in box. Now I will need to cut each bag, and install the 4 loose parts. Extra work on my part and prone to errors. The Alpha III kits were not like this before. Otherwise, great rocket.

Needed them in a hurry and Estes came through!!

I have been using these Alpha iii rockets for around 10 years in Vacation Bible School. This year there were several additional boys. I needed rockets fast!! The gentleman at Estes worked with me on the phone and the rockets were here the next day early in the morning. As far as the rockets themselves go. I have never had a problem with them. They are easy to build. And the boys like launching them off.

The rocket is flawless in terms of ease of assembly. However, we and our 10 yr-old coworkers missed the balsa cutouts and gluing followed by painting. If they are still available, the catalog is unclear.
