They definitely need a breaking in period. I love the support and comfort but find my back hurting after a few hours. Each time I wear them my back hurts a little less. Happy with my purchase and would purchase again

Curious about all the hoopla surrounding OOFOS, I decided to purchase a pair of the originals - limited edition Athena. I ordered true to my size (8), however, when they arrive, they were too short and uncomfortable. I did an exchange for a size 9, and they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable.
