Although I enjoyed reading the trilogy, "Track to Freedom, Beyond the Tracks and Botanist tracks". I have been aware of the many atrocities committed during WW2, Reading the books however gave me a greater understanding of the many brave men and women both in the camps and outside the camps. I have just bought the next 3 books Orpans of War, They bled Orange, and Crossroads of Granite .

Can’t say I love it but very informing . My grandparents and parents lived in the Netherlands during the war. I knew it was very bad but how animals could do that to other people and laugh while doing it makes me feel sick. Only into the 2nd book.

My husband loved it and I am about to start Beyond the Tracks this afternoon. He is now on the next one Tracks to Freedom and we have the third. I am looking forward to reading them. What would you suggest our next read could be. We both enjoy those true stories and my husband said your writing is superb. Thank you Steph Might be worth checking out the NZ market ?
