I had never had the star apple before, but upon receiving this gem it instantly became my favorite! The flavor is between a pineapple and maybe soursop, and the texture is similar to maybe young coconut...almost gelatinous....the flavor was incredible. Sasoun ALWAYS delivers only the very best produce! Shout out to Kevin at Sasoun and Johnny juicer for introducing me to this beautiful place! LA from Nashville 🙂

Not sweet at all. I’m wondering if it was picked too early or if the variety is just not sweet.
