KastKing Kestrel Finesse Casting Rod

First bait finesse baitcaster

New to baitcasters, but this rod combined with the kestrel se reel make the learning curve very short. Once I got it dialed in, the only backlashes I get have been from an absence of spatial awareness where I hook some weeds or grass behind me. The only other problem I have come across is the ease of dirt getting into the reel and having to take it apart to clean and oil it.

Kestrel BFS

Just got my Kestrel 6'9" light fast rod in the other day paired to my kestrel BFS System reel and cant wait to get on the water. Such a great feeling combo in my hand.

Wished I had got sooner

This is an awesome rod. I bought a kestrel bfs reel and had it on an old ultralight rod i had, never loved the setup. Casting was finicky and liked to whiplash with casting and would cause a big birdsnest. The rod was a game changer. I cast a 1/32oz lure between 50 and 60 feet. Love the rod and wish I had bought a long time ago.
