Cole & Mason Hampstead Precision+ Electronic Salt Mill

Not what I expected. My previous set was heavy and solid these are light and feel cheap. I’ve had Cole and Mason products for over 10 years….sad that the quality isn’t what it once was. I’ll keep looking.

Great upgrade

After using these mills for 15 years, my salt mill LED lamp failed. I upgraded to this mill w/two LED lamp & wide base. What a wonderful upgrade…..lots more light & not as prone to tip over. Now for Christmas gifts I need (4) full sets for the kids. Like everything the cost has gone up, but well worth it!!

a good grinder

The part I like the best is the motor is above the salt. In humid times of the year the congealed salt will not get into the motor as it has in 2 lower priced units I have owned. All it will be is just a clean up of the grinding mechanism. this is a pricey item but with the motor position and the 2 year warranty it seems to be worth the price.
