Had an issue with a firmware update right before a planned 1500 mile bike trip, i went ahead and ordered the refurb unit so as to make sure i had a unit for my trip. the refurb unit came in the identical packaging with the identical accessories as the new one i originally purchased, to be honest I would not have even know it was a refurbished unit. Radenso Customer Service is the best I have ever received. When i called them and and told them what happened to my original unit doing the firmware update - they offered to refund me a partial portion for the refurb unit i just purchased if I sent them back my original unit. Great Customer Service!

Radenso DS1 - WOW!

The Redenso DS1 is amazing! I am alerted well in advance of police using radar. Coupled with a great product, customer support has been stellar! Rindy is patient and super helpful. I recommend any Radenso product, but especially the DS1. No regrets at all. Love the size and ease of use. Thank you, Radenso!

A great deal on refurbished unit

The unit looked new. It worked well in picking up police radar with a good distance to easily slow down. It does though pick up a lot of spurious signals. That’s why it got 4/5 stars. The magnetic mount is nice. It would be nice to have a quick set up for using the mag mount. The radar detector when attached to the mount only goes in one way and needs to tipped in. I wish they gave more information when purchasing the unit on a second mount during purchase to save on shipping costs. response to queries is very slow. By the time I got a response, I received the unit. The website has information that is old and dated. This unit can use a USB c and USB A data connection for updates.
