The DS1 is so quiet with regard to false alarms I need to keep checking to see if it is still on. I love the compact size which has allowed me to mount it high on the windshield in the cut out away from the film from my heated windshield which would otherwise block the radar signal. I used a 3m stick on mounting bracket and hard wired to the fuse box using a fuse tap. Install looks great.
