Purple Bumble Bee Tomato (Organic 70 Days)

Tasty, beautiful nuggets!

Ordering was simple. Seeds came very quickly. Seeds were started indoors and did very well. 98% germination rate. These little tomatoes are so unique looking almost iridescent. They taste great and are such a jewel to add to a salad.

I love these sweet cherry sized tomatoes with their unique purple streaked with green appearance. Moderate production and slow to ripen but worth the wait. I will definitely grow them again. Thanks to Pinetree for offering these seeds!

Prolific, hardy and beautiful

Absolutely my best cherry tomato this year, it is a foot taller than all of my other tomato plants! Indeterminate habit but very upright, it’s been easy to grow against a cattle panel. It was the second to set and ripen fruit (despite the fruits being twice the size of the tiny cherries that ripened first), and has been impervious to physiological leaf roll and leaf yellowing during our early heat and dry spells this year. The color is absolutely gorgeous—these are ripe when the green stripes lose their metallic look. Lovely, rich flavor. Definitely growing these again and again!
