The best summer squash
The Zephyr squash is hands down the most productive and highest quality squash. Been growing it for over 7 years and it just keeps getting better. Strong, productive plants that resist borers and disease. My first 4 seeds have produced well over 200 squash and still going strong into a hot, dry August. Pretty to look at and the taste is fantastic. People ask for more of my squash. Pick small if you can keep up, will require harvest almost every day!

Very hardy plants. This was our first year growing the Zephyr squash. My parents have already asked to get more seed for next years harvest.

My Favorite Squash!
I have grown Zephyr squash every year for about five years now. It consistently yields throughout the summer. I grow it in a cool, sometimes wet, partially shaded garden, in a heavy clay loam soil. Not an ideal setting! I do not normally have disease or insect issues, but I am prepared to spray to control those issues. This variety takes the place of both zucchini and other yellow squash varieties for me. It has a delicious flavor that can be used in a variety of recipes. If you are short of space or don’t want to be overloaded with squash, this one variety is a great choice.
