I love my espresso and brew using Profitec Pro 700 and so far, I have not been let down with any of McCabe's beans. I will be honest I saw these beans being described as New and Espresso and I was like I am in this is for me! After having gone through almost 300 g of my 1 kg pack I can honestly say this coffee is sour and not meant for an espresso. I have tried everything, increasing the fines of the grind to the extreme and the opposite extreme, and everything in between, and nothing can save it. If you want espresso stay away from this one rather buy a bag of sourworms and make some tea with it, it will taste the same for less! Time to try to see if I can salvage this coffee using the old faithful siphon or do poor over like a caveman.
