Thank goodness we all like different things in coffee!
I never really know why i like some coffee and dislike others so I find it difficult to write a review. I have tried 8 different ones from Mahers and did keep a rating with a view to understanding whether its a location or the way it is prepared might give me an idea of what i like! But I don't have the language to describe the flavours and im afraid the words used by Mahers to describe them did not help me! French Roast to me tastes strong (it is described like this) and smoky (which i don't taste) and caramel (well I know I like caramel so perhaps that is why I like this one but I wouldn't have picked it as a word to describe it). This one comes from Columbia but i strongly disliked their Dark Columian organic Columian! The ones I like are French, Gold and Continental but this French one always had the edge and having tried so many (with 5 in the bin :) I have stuck with this French Roast as I really do like it!
