WORLD-FAMOUS CRUMB CAKE

I had this crumb cake sent to Florida for when my husband and I would be visiting my brother. The two guys are always talking about Jersey crumb cake. I order from Styertown for special occasions because my husband is originally from Bloomfield and they remind him of home. The crumb cakes never disappoint and my guys were thrilled. Unfortunately I missed the surprise because it arrived later than the original expected delivery date. I had left to visit cousins in Boca. No matter how many times I try, I can’t match the deliciousness of this crumb cake.

I’ve been a fan of Styertown bakery for years, especially the crumb cake. Ordered and had it sent to a friend in Port St Lucie Florida, a NJ transplant. She was absolutely blown away as were her neighbors who have never even heard of crumb cake. By the way, it also won a blind taste test I conducted at my job (with about 100 coworkers) a few years back beating out a few others INCLUDING one from a well known Bergen County bakery:)

The crumb cake was exactly how I remember it! Delicious!! I will be ordering more for the holidays.
