Dugdale Ash Grey Wool Flannel Dress Pant

Great basic cloth, but the workmanship can be a miss

The cloth is soft and durable, and works great in the Nordic winter.The Luxire trouser pattern affords a great fit (I own 5 pairs of Luxire trousers). The overall make is very durable and machine stitching is secure, but the devil lies in the detail. I've had two pairs in this Dugdale cloth in different colors (brown and grey). The button finishing on Luxire pants can be anything between OK and a complete catastrophe: the thread is cheap, the shank is sometimes long and very loosely sewn. I've had buttons that snaps off after a few wears, or the shank hanging so loosely that suspender buttons sit visible over your waist band. If I didn't know how to sew myself, this level of finishing can become costly! Beware!

Very good work

I think Luxire did a very good work. They made these pants for me based on the measurements of bespoke pants I provided. The style and fit was very close. The fabric is heavy, but quite soft and perhaps not the best to have a razor sharp line. I’m pretty satisfied with the result overall.
