Needs a bigger hook

I pair the mini max with a 3. 5 trick shotz. I’ve caught a ton slow crawling on the bottom like a crank bait. My hook up and landing percentage is a little lower than I’d like. I use rod down in fairly open water and rod up working through brush. It’s fairly snag resistant that way. Kind of like a deep diving crank bait.

I do a lot of retention pond fishing and i love using this as my "search" bait. I run it as is and the fish love it. I've caught a ton of largemouth bass on this lure and it works perfect in smaller bodies of water and large ones
