Dry and crumbly

Was keen to give the amiral gloss a go after using the Saphir pate de luxe polish which is excellent. Not sure if it's just the one I received but it was hard, dry and crumbly. I did mail the seller to query, but no response to date. I have made do it with by warming it to a liquid, but it seems quite fiddly to get a good finish unlike the basic shoe polish. Wouldn't purchase again (either product nor from vendor).
