Easy Install, Loose Trim and Weak Brackets

Installation was straightforward overall. The dash kit brackets were installed backwards from the factory, but it was easy enough to swap them around. My only complaints are with the dash kit itself. The painted dash kit piece clips in very loosely and is easy to unclip along the top edge. Additionally, the included plastic mounting brackets don’t provide much support for the head unit, allowing it to move and shake more than it should.

Install was easy after watching the video. Sound is 100% better, CarPlay works great also purchased the Maestro OEM Mic setup and it was all ready to go, legit plug and play.

Great aftermarket solution for a head unit! Looks OEM but having a nice Sony head unit is so nice! Highly recommend for any 4 runner owners!
