Great Nav and Audio Upgrade

Installed the Sony XAV-9500ES head unit with Trail Grid's Alpine 6-speaker bundle in my 2017 Tacoma and the result is incredible. The addition of having Android auto in the car is a game changer as I no longer need to use my phone for navigation; I found the stock head unit useless for navigation so never used it. The sound clarity from this system is far beyond my expectations. Installed head unit first, then had to wait for the Alpine speaker bundle to arrive, so had it for a week with the original JBL non-amplified stock speakers. It made a big difference in sound quality on the stock speakers, so the head unit is a great upgrade for anyone not wanting to upgrade their speakers (although the speaker bundle is a very simple install and took less than 3 hrs to install). Highly recommend the Sony/Alpine combo for anyone looking for a major upgrade to their stock audio system.

Great product, easy install

Absolutely flawless head unit. Works as advertised and does much more. The only issue I’m having is with the Maestro module, but that is separate from this Sony head unit. Trail Grid Pro, you knocked it out of the park with this one.

This unit is unbelievable. Great screen resolution, great sound, etc. Had some install issues originally and Trail Grid tech support was amazing. They spent an entire day assisting me and ultimately replaced the unit under warranty. The replacement unit was installed and up and running in under 30 minutes.
