Kyo Mukashi

I consider Kyo Mukashi a versatile matcha, delicious in latte and americano. Not bitter and has noticeable umami and sweetness, a mellow matcha that retains its flavors even with milk. The first time I prepared it, I was greeted by light seaweed-like aroma and is quite surprising, I don’t believe I have smelled that in other matchas I tried. The anticipation of flavorful matcha went through my mind as I whisked it and sure enough it’s bursting in flavors with decadent aftertaste, I couldn’t be more happy.
