Even better if it came with the windscreen
This is my third Esbit pocket stove (I have the small and medium too) and as expected I like it a lot. Obviously it's more stable with bigger containers and you can really pack in the solid fuel pucks if so desired. It also fits snugly in the Pathfinder MOLLE canteen bags' front pocket. Cool. My one quibble is why they don't include the little windscreen like they do with the medium size. It fits in the large just like in the medium, no problem. Anyway it's not advertised as containing the little windscreen so I won't take off a star. But still, why not?

Great for car camping
I love my medium Esbit stove for packing but wanted to use a larger pan for shared meals but without toting a traditional green propane stove around. The large stove was great! I'm really happy with it. With our cold nights, I don't have to deal with frosty hoses or having a canister explode like a bomb and come sailing back down to the ground like last season. I'm really happy with it and now pretty cautious of gas canisters. I prefer the solid fuel.
