Really zaps for small product

This sucker really zaps them pest. Only draw back is the charging time isn’t consistent. Once it is charged it runs 3 - 4 hours depending on how much it zaps. But the charging runs from 3 - 12 hours. The first time I charged it was 3 hours, the next 4 hrs., the next took 12 hrs. So I thought it was broken by hour 8 but left it plugged. At 12 the charge light finally turned green. That time it ran 2 hours but then it took 3 hours to charge next. I can not understand why the charging time differs. I use the same cord, the same plugin, so I’m very confused but am satisfied with how many gnats and mosquitoes it kills.
