Plum Braided Waxed Cord

Color clarification

I'll start by saying this: I love this thread and it's so pretty. I have no objection to the naming scheme, but I might call this a bit more of a muted "magenta," than plum (which to me is more of a red-purple). I found the actual thread to be slightly less red than the photo on the website. Anyway, great thread, a little thinner than the smallest tiger thread, and very well made. Perfect for me, when I stitch with 2.5mm-3mm irons.

I am through with other "braided waxed threads" - when poking a blunt-tipped needle through a hole where there is already a thread, it's a challenge to keep from puncturing the first thread and making an ugly stitch. And, if you try to undo it, good luck! This thread is braided tightly so I haven't had this problem at all!

This is great cord. It gives a professional, clean look to hand stitching. I highly recommend this cord.
