Even roast

I originally had an sr500 and in order to have a somewhat even roast I used to put one hand under the roaster and the other on top and rotate several minutes to not burn the beans. Now with my SR540 and the extension tube I just turn on the machine and right away the beans are moving the way they should be, so I'm excited about roast a lot of coffee in this machine with the extension tube.

Not sure it is a beneficial add on

I've never used one of these, but it is cumbersome and I am no sold on it being needed or helpful.

I recently broke my extension tube for my SR500. This replacement came quickly and had great customer service. The only reason for the four stars is that it didn't come with an instruction manual, so I had to guess that I put it in correctly. Otherwise, this is a great product and I would highly recommend it. Thanks!
