If you are a small person the Small size hood can slide over your eyes when getting caught in the impact zone. Even tight the extra small is easy to paddle in , but after about 90 minutes of paddling it can pull on the neck a little bit.

Overall great product. It doesn't loosen up in the water but fits and stays snug.
